Where I’ve been: Baguio City

Life is not meant to be lived in one place, so to speak.

It’s been my third time in Baguio.

The first time was with my family, second was with two of my closest friends, and then again this year with just my uncle, aunt, and sister.

Is it crazy for me to think that even if I’ve been there for only a handful of times, Baguio feels like home to me.

The cool, cozy-vibes in the city is truly an escape from the typical tropical climate with a dash of the traffic and polluted reality we live in.

We left Manila at 4:30 in the morning.

Bags already packed, together with a fluffy pillow–to aid me in the long drive trying to stay awake so that

my uncle would not feel alone while he’s driving, with zero-sleep.

My phone was fully-charged, and so was I. But on the way there, not once did I use my phone to listen to music

or watched an episode of the series I downloaded intentionally for the trip.

I guess I was really looking forward to stay away from my phone even just for a while. (Except when it’s time to take photos of course)

Before I share with you the photos I took, let me tell you where we went and where we ate.

Since this is not my first time in the City of Pines,

we did not go solely to the usual tourist spots and just went back to the ones that we liked to go back to.

Massive thanks to these two for taking me

and my sister along on this trip.

Being with my sister, and my second pair of parents in the City of Pines was a blast.

Days full of love, endless supply of laughter, food, and adventure are few of the simple luxuries that keeps me going.

Appreciating nature’s beauty and just being grateful of life here on Earth keeps me grounded.

Spending time with the ones you love most and filling life with

moments you actually love are the things I call home.

While you are reading this, my family is already planning our next adventure together.

Now, where to next?

Always keep your sunny side up,
