Saturdays are best spent in a place where relaxation meets world class dishes in the heart of your hometown.
If you’re a Cebuano like me, consider yourself lucky because we are just minutes away from one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, Pig & Palm. It’s the first restaurant in the Philippines by a Michelin-starred British chef, Jason Atherton, and his wife Irha Atherton. (Read more about them here.)
I have nothing but praises for this restaurant and it will always be a pleasure coming back here. It’s perfect for catching up with your friends, or a dinner date. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s very worth it I promise!
It was a day well spent for me, my mom and my tita because, well, food is life. We ordered a lot of their mouth watering dishes with no regrets. You’d have to see the place in person and taste the food yourself, but in the mean time, let me show you what we ordered!
Now for dessert!
The drink I ordered was under Zero Alcohol Cocktails, the Lemon Chamomile Iced Tea – P150. Unfortunately, I was already halfway off my iced tea when I realized I forgot to take a picture. So if you wanna see it, I guess you’ll have to order one when you eat there!
My personal favorite is the Heritage Tomato Salad, KFC Fried Chicken, and my beloved Chocolate Moelleux with Salted Caramel Ice Cream. I just can’t get enough of it, I swear.
