The Good things: Entry no. 1
An old city. Warm smiles that bring out your smile too :). The beach. Road trips. Friends who fall asleep as soon as the car starts moving. Sharing snacks with your fave people. Sunrise. Taking photographs as mementos…
My work fam and I went on a three-day road trip to Vigan-Paoay-Baguio! Even if it’s just a few months into 2020, we felt like we needed to get out of Manila for a while, and this trip was the answer.
Stopping by La Union was the best decision ever because of the view and the Dirty Horchata from El Union ♥️
Truly appreciated Calle Crisologo, Vigan because of its historical charm ✨
Rode the 4×4 at Paoay Sand Dunes—definitely, a must-visit place with friends especially if you’re into exciting new experiences.🦋 (note: even if you have a driver’s license, you will not be permitted to drive the 4×4 🤪)
We went at 10 AM and even though it was very sunny—code for HOT btw, we got to enjoy a quite chaotic ride and the beautiful view.
At the end of the ride, you get to go sand surfing.
if you’re willing, you just basically go up that sand hill and slide going down! ☀️
We drove to Baguio to have dinner at the Night Market 🍢🍜 and made sure to browse through Ukay-ukay clothes! 🛍
oh, but before all that, we got— strawberry taho 🍓
Woke up at 6AM to catch the sunrise 🌄
caught the sunset just as we were leaving Baguio.
the Good things cont.
…Cold nights. Honest conversations. Hugs. Friends who take photos of you. You taking photos of them. Sunset. Associating feelings to new memories. Home.
All of these are some of the good things I’ll love endlessly- amour sans fin.
Always keep your sunny side up,
